Dr. Lydia Chun, PSY.D.
Executive Director, Licensed Clinical Psychologist
Dr. Lydia Chun is a licensed clinical psychologist and is the Executive Director of GIFT Counseling and Wellness Centers. She earned her B.A. from the University of Southern California in Psychology. She attended a teaching credential program after her B.A. and was a school teacher for five years. Later she pursued advanced graduate training and received her masters and doctorate in clinical psychology from Rosemead School of Psychology, Biola University (APA-accredited).
Dr. Lydia Chun has studied and worked in the field of mental health for more than 15 years. Her clinical training included an APA-approved internship at Pacific Clinics in Pasadena, CA with an emphasis on children, couples, and family therapy. Dr. Lydia
Chun has received further postgraduate training in couples and family therapy and trauma treatment. She completed an externship in Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy (EFT). She is also a certified Gottman Educator for the Relationships Research Institute.
Dr. Lydia Chun has been trained in diverse theoretical orientations and treatment modalities including psychodynamic psychotherapy, cognitive-behavioral therapy, behavioral therapy, couple’s therapy, play therapy, children and adolescent and family therapy. She works with individuals, couples, adolescents and children on a wide variety of issues including anxiety, depression, and relationship and family problems. She also received further training in neurofeedback therapy at EEG Spectrum Institute to treat a variety of problems including ADHD, anxiety and depression.
Dr. Lydia Chun’s passion is to help people, couples and families to grow deeper in their relationship with themselves, each other, and God as they work through the challenges they face. She incorporates faith-based and Biblical principles in her work when appropriate. She desires to help others become the people God created them to be by working through patterns that prevent them from growing and reaching their full potential. She has been married for more than 25 years and has two children.

리디아 전 박사는 공인된 임상심리학 박사이며 GIFT상담치유연구원의 공동 설립자이며, 원장으로 있습니다. 리디아 전 박사는 USC (University of Southern California) 대학에서 심리학으로 학사학위를 받았습니다. 그 후 교사자격증 프로그램을 이수하고 5년동안 가주에서 교사생활을 하다가 한인 커뮤니티의 전문상담자의 필요를 절실히 느껴, 다시 정신 건강으로 전환하여, Biola 대학교에 있는 Rosemead 임상심리대학원(APA 인정) 에서 임상심리학 석사 및 박사학위를 받았습니다.
리디아 전 박사는 정신 건강 분야에서 15년 이상의 풍부한 경험을 가지고 있습니다. 전 박사는 개인, 부부, 청소년, 아이들의 불안, 우울증, 가족문제, 관계문제를 포함한 폭넓은 문제들을 다루고 있으며, 또한 ADHD, 불안, 우울증의 증상을 가지고 있는 환자들을 뉴로피드백 치료(Neurofeedback Therapy) 방법으로 치료하는 기술또한 훈련받았습니다. 리디아 전 박사는 Prepare/Enrich예비결혼/결혼교실 진행자 (facilitator)를 훈련 승인할수 있는 Prepare/Enrich프로그램의 공인된 트레이너 이기도 합니다.
리디아 전 박사의 열정은 개인과 부부 그리고 가족들이 당면한 어려움들을 지나는 동안 하나님과의 더 깊은 관계를 갖을수 있고, 그어려움을 능히 극복하게 돕는데 있습니다. 또한 내담자가 가지고 있는 무한한 잠제력을 온전히 활용하는 사람으로 성장하고 도달하는데 가로막는 장애물들을 극복함으로 하나님께서 창조하신 모습을 온전히 회복하도록 돕기를 간절히 소망합니다. 더 나아가, 교육과 훈련을 통해 더욱더 건강한 개인, 가정 그리고 사회를 함께 이루어가는데 큰 열정을 가지고 있습니다.
Dr. Joseph Chun, M.D.
Dr. Joseph Chun graduated from MIT (Massachusetts Institute of Technology) and UCLA School of Medicine. He trained at West L.A. Wadsworth Medical Center (Pathology), LAC-USC Medical Center (Internal Medicine and Pediatrics), and UCLA Medical Center in West Los Angeles (Allergy and Clinical Immunology). He also studied at Trinity College of Graduate Studies (Relational Psychology) and Talbot School of Theology (Institute of Spiritual Formation) and has practiced medicine over 20 years in Orange
County.
Dr. Joseph Chun believes that true healing is brought about when all mind, body, spirit, and relationship are whole. At GIFT Life Fitness Center and GIFT for Well Being, he serves with the vision to practice and promote whole person healing.

GIFT상담치유연구원의 전달훈 (Joseph Chun)박사는 MIT대학과 UCLA의대를 졸업했습니다. West L.A. Wadsworth 병원에서 병리학을, LAC-USC대학병원에서 내과와 소아과를 수련하고 UCLA 대학병원에서 알러지/면역학을 공부했습니다. 또한 Trinity College of Graduate Studies 에서 관계심리학(Relational Psychology)을, Talbot신학교에서 신학/영성훈련을 공부했습니다. Orange County에서 20여년동안 의술을 베풀고 있습니다.
