About Us

GIFT (Global, Individual, Family, Transformation) Counseling & Wellness Centers aim
to promote ultimate restoration/health in the whole person (mind, body, and spirit)
and in relationships.

GIFT provides professional counseling, consultation and education to parents, families,
and communities. The centers also aim to equip and train people to become confident
peer/lay counselors to serve the community, locally, and/or globally.

Founders of GIFT Counseling & Wellness Centers, Dr. Joseph Chun, a medical doctor,
and Dr. Lydia Chun, a clinical psychologist, share passion to bring healing of mind,
body and spirit, and in relationships. They are passionate about bringing healing
and restoration in people, families, and communities in all levels of mind, body
and spirit, and relationships by actively integrating their learned scientific professional
knowledge and their faith to bring whole person healing. With the same vision, GIFT’s
team of professional counselors are committed to providing the highest quality services
and programs for whole person healing and transformation.

GIFT (Global, Individual, Family, Transformation) 상담치유 연구원은 궁극전인 전인치유 (몸, 마음, 영혼, 관계) 를 추구합니다. GIFT 상담치유 연구원에서는 3가지 독립된 센터 (GIFT 전문상담소, GIFT Life School/Fitness (교육훈련센터), GIFT For Community)를 통해서 개인, 가정, 그리고 커뮤니티의 회복을 위해 전문상담, 교육, 훈련 및 자원을 제공함으로써 개인의 삶의 질을 높이며 건전한 가정과 사회를 세울수 있도록 돕는것이 목표입니다. 또 교육받고 훈련된 일반인(평신도) 상담자와 가정 교육자를 GIFT평신도 상담치유훈련학교를 통해 배출하여 교회나 지역단체가 자체적으로, 어려움이 있는 개인과 가정들을 도울 수 있도록 지원하는 것이 GIFT 상담치유연구원의 또하나의 비전이고 목표입니다.

GIFT 상담치유 연구원의 설립자 전달훈 박사(Joseph Chun M.D.)와 리디아 전 임상심리학 박사(Psy.D.)는 전인치유(몸, 마음, 영혼, 관계) 와 예방교육, 또 일반인과 평신도를 다른사람들을 돕는 평신도상담가들로 훈련하는데 열정을 가지고 있습니다. 두 설립자는 각 분야에서의 오래된 임상경험, 전문지식과 성서적 진리와 영성을 같이 통합해 가정과 지역사회를 회복하고 치유하는것을 열망합니다. GIFT 상담치유연구원의 상담가들도 위와같은 비전을 가지고 전인치유와 변화를 위해서 여러분들을 섬기고 있습니다.
