She earned her B.A. from the University<br \/>\nof Southern California in Psychology. She attended a teaching credential program<br \/>\nafter her B.A. and was a school teacher for five years. Later she pursued advanced<br \/>\ngraduate training and received her masters and doctorate in clinical psychology<br \/>\nfrom Rosemead School of Psychology, Biola University (APA-accredited).<\/p>\n<p>Dr. Lydia Chun has studied and worked in the field of mental health for more than<br \/>\n15 years. Her clinical training included an APA-approved internship at Pacific Clinics<br \/>\nin Pasadena, CA with an emphasis on children, couples, and family therapy. Dr. Lydia<br \/>\nChun has received further postgraduate training in couples and family therapy and<br \/>\ntrauma treatment. She completed an externship in Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy<br \/>\n(EFT). She is also a certified Gottman Educator for the Relationships Research Institute.<\/p>\n<p>Dr. Lydia Chun has been trained in diverse theoretical orientations and treatment<br \/>\nmodalities including psychodynamic psychotherapy, cognitive-behavioral therapy,<br \/>\nbehavioral therapy, couple\u2019s therapy, play therapy, children and adolescent and<br \/>\nfamily therapy. She works with individuals, couples, adolescents and children on<br \/>\na wide variety of issues including anxiety, depression, and relationship and family<br \/>\nproblems. She also received further training in neurofeedback therapy at EEG Spectrum<br \/>\nInstitute to treat a variety of problems including ADHD, anxiety and depression.<\/p>\n<p>Dr. Lydia Chun&#8217;s passion is to help people, couples and families to grow deeper in their relationship\u00a0with themselves, each other, and God as they work through the challenges they face.\u00a0She incorporates faith-based and Biblical principles in her work when appropriate.\u00a0She desires to help others become the people God created them to be by working through\u00a0patterns that prevent them from growing and reaching their full potential.
